Wait for the wax to pool to the container's edges before snuffing out.

Let the candle fully cool before relighting.
Trim the wick to 1/4 inch each time to ensure a cleaner burn and reduce soot.
Candle Safety and Maintenance:

Avoid burning near flammable items.
Ensure no debris, like matches or wick remnants, is in the candle.
Limit burn time to a maximum of three hours to prevent soot accumulation.
